Where to Eat in Kenmare

At Park Hotel Kenmare we see food as an instrument of connection to both people and place. We are fortunate to receive an abundance of local produce daily in our kitchens. Whether it be farmers dropping off crates of handmade sausages or neighbours bringing in bags of fig leaves from their own gardens, we strive to celebrate the produce cultivated in our corner of Ireland.

Our head chef James O’Sullivan, who grew up in West Cork, creates seasonal and elevated menus that pay homage to the comforts and traditions of Irish cuisine. Breads are baked daily in-house, and you may spot one of our chefs on a trip to our overflowing herb garden to collect bundles of flowering thyme and purple sage. 

The art on our plates nods to the art on the walls; you can taste the care and quality that goes into our food, beginning with our friends and farmers, and ending with our dedicated kitchen team.
