Six new rooms, designed by Jo Nagasaka of Schemata Architects, Tokyo - unlike anything else at Park Hotel Kenmare.

Where the hotel's Victorian heart is warmth, character and history, these rooms are something different - contemporary, calm, and almost entirely given over to the view. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over Kenmare Bay and its woodlands, framing the landscape beautifully.

Inside, Irish limestone and oak line the walls and floors, their textures quiet and grounding. The bathroom is all dark stone, cool to the touch, a generous shower and a deep bath sits in the window, looking out over the bay. Each room holds a carefully chosen piece from the Meehan family's art collection - works that have found their way here from collections around the world.

The kingsize bed is positioned to face the view,  open the blinds when you're ready, and our wild landscape is waiting.
