We will shortly announce the opening of our entirely reconceived spa and wellness facility. This new development will open in early August 2026.
The spa will draw from the extraordinary landscape that Park Hotel Kenmare enjoys, sitting on the Bay of Kenmare. Treatments and spa experiences will be inspired by the natural environment and create a completely new experience in the Irish spa market. There will also be 6 spectacular bedroom suites.
Bryan and Tara Meehan have chosen global architect, Jo Nagasaka of Schemata, Tokyo, with whom Bryan worked closely in Asia when he built Blue Bottle Coffee Company. This will be an architecturally important development for the hotel and spa, and for Irish hospitality.
Bryan Meehan said:
"I have spent time in some of the great spas of the world, and what strikes me about so many of them is that they could be anywhere. Beautiful, yes, but sealed off from the place, from the community, from anything that might actually move you. We have one of the most extraordinary landscapes on earth outside our door. Our spa was built to honour that - to create a place where Kerry itself is showcased. Where you leave feeling not just rested, but genuinely changed by where you've been."
